Optim Eyewear from Barcelona, Spain, contacted Manny Stone Decorators about building their booth for the 2011 International Vision Expo at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. They had a specific booth design in mind, and provided us with these illustrations. They wanted two polygon-shaped display platforms to display their two lines of eyewear, with the polygon shape meant to mimic the Gaudí Concept eyewear logo.
"Can you bring this concept to reality?" they asked. We set out to do just that. Scroll down to see our process unfold.
From left: Lloyd Stone, President of Manny Stone Decorators, going over details with his staff; additional staff members calculating measurements; Lloyd Stone overseeing the back wall being built.
From left: Corner of booth in progress; same corner finished with polygon-shaped display platform; front display platform with product logo.
And the final equation? The client concept + Manny Stone Decorators = the concept made reality!
We're happy to report that right after the show, we received the following note of appreciation:
"Working with Manny Stone Decorators has been very rewarding, not only because it reflected perfectly the concept we wanted to offer as an optimal level of quality at work, but because you helped us to adapt in order to fit our budget without losing the design we initially sent you."
