We were originally drawn to them because of their website, which is easy to use and provides great examples of booths. What a wonderful experience the National Stationary Show has been - not only for me, but also for my mom that assisted me with my booth, and my little baby, who is due in just four weeks! I cannot believe that it's time to pack up and go home later today - time flies when you are having fun!

The NSS not only provided me with an opportunity to launch my new greeting card line, "Adventures of Little C" into a bigger market, but also enabled me to meet some wonderfully talented exhibitors, some of which I can even call friends now! The atmosphere was full of incredible talent, kindness and excitement. I obtained invaluable tips from many of my booth neighbors and developed business relationships with retailers both near and far. I had my eye on getting my cards into the Papery, an adorable boutique in my very own hometown of Philadelphia for some time now, and was beyond excited when I landed a sale with them at the show!

And of course, I must make special mention of Manny Stone Decorators! The Manny team created the perfect hardwalls, shelving, lighting and signage for my booth. The clean look of the white walls, quality of lighting and vibrant foamboard enlargements complemented the Adventures of Little C line, which is simple, yet contains just enough splash of color or a touch of bling to bring a smile to someone's face. Manny's (Lloyd's) professionalism, knowledge and basically 24/7 accessibility made my first time experience in the NSS a memorable one for sure!

As an attorney, I'm used to putting in long hours. But, preparing for and participating in the NSS proved to be a true juggling act. If I had to do it all over again, there's not one thing I'd do differently. One would think that after four days in the show at nine months pregnant, I'd be ready to collapse. However, quite the contrary, the show has made me even more motivated and excited for what's to become of Adventures of Little C at this most exciting time in my life.

We are a very well established UK company, and have been so for some twenty five years. In September of last year we decided to branch out into the USA and in doing so to introduce our British handwriting onto this side of the pond, so to speak.

Our first exhibition here was at the boutique fair last October, and fortunately Advantstar introduced me to Manny Stone Decorators who custom built my booth to exact specification without meeting them and communication purely by phone and fax, they have continued to build my booths for every fair in the USA which is now approaching five. I am also grateful to Jason Vassallo one of your carpenters who is a very energetic vibrant and professional member of your network and whose help has been of immense value.

Whilst writing I would also like to mention that I received an invoice from the electrical contractor with regard to services that we had received at the recent Style Industry show which appeared to have been very high with over charges, which does not inspire confidence in the billing system. However, Lloyd Stone of Manny Stone Decorators reviewed it and set about in assisting me in receiving a credit which is being dealt with.

Finally, I do look forward to many fairs at the Javits Center in the years to come, with the helpful assistance of not only your team as well as Lloyd Stone's input.

This is a letter of thanks for an amazing job done for an unimaginable mess I found myself faced with.

I felt it was necessary to recap the details and share them with anyone who would appreciate the importance of having a reliable company to hire when working a trade show, especially in New York City.

My name is Susan Zelinka, I am the General Manager of a company Sharif Designs. Our company is a very well known resource of high-end designer handbags.

I found myself in an unbelievable situation in May while we were setting up to participate in Accessories The Show market at the Javits center. Our company hired a person to create and set up our booth only to find the day of the set up that he was unable to accomplish the job. To say that I was in a panic was an understatement. It was approximately 11:00am and I had to find a way to create a beautiful environment and make right what was terribly wrong.

After rushing around in circles in a desperate effort to find help, I was directed to the Freeman Decorating service desk. They immediately said they were unable to help me at this 12th hour and that I might contact Lloyd Stone of Manny Stone Decorators who had a booth set up in the next building. Along with our New York Sales Representative, Susan Fielding, we set off to see what Lloyd Stone had to offer. To make a long story short he offered a miracle. Not only in his spontaneous reaction to my panic, but in the way that he stayed with me from the beginning to the end to be sure that everything would be perfect!

Lloyd identified my problem, suggested that I order contrasting color carpet from Freeman to highlight my space. He offered me various custom appropriate booth designs at a reasonable cost, considering the circumstances. I selected a natural display ladder and shelf system, which he was able to produce for me without delay. Also, the issue of lighting was addressed immediately and construction of the entire project.

The most amazing thing of all, is that by 4:00pm (same day), just five short hours later we were looking great! Actually, everyone was coming by our space and telling us what a beautiful booth we had. You can only imagine my surprise, delight and relief that all of the unimaginable disasters were now behind us. So miracles do happen, as long as you find an angel.

Many thanks to Michael Dalcerro, Javits carpenter and Robert Clymore, Javits apprentice who were professional, polite, efficient, and helpful. All of these men doing a gerat job under the supervision of Josh Schultz of Manny Stone Decorators. This team worked together and turned a nightmare into a dream.

So that is my story and anyone who can laugh after they spent the day crying needs to share with everyone the tale of our "set-up day."
